guard observation and surveillance patterns, thus making smuggling that much harder.
OIP Sensor Systems offers a mobile system that provides maximum coverage and operational flexibility to the border guard force. The concept integrates a variety of technologies to provide surveillance capabilities for day and night, including:
• 4x4 all terrain vehicle (MSS)
• Long or medium range day and night electro-optic payload
• Hand-launched tactical UAV for day and night aerial surveillance
• Integrated control console and processing centre
• Mobile C4I software application
• Third generation handheld thermal imager for commander (Agilis)
• Image Intensifier night vision goggles for crew
The mobile platform enables observation, reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting capabilities by maneuvering the payload to where it is most needed.
In addition, the vehicle crew has a miniature, hand-launched, Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) with stabilized day or night payload for aerial surveillance. This man portable miniature UAV can be deployed in minutes to provide aerial coverage of areas which are beyond or out of the vehicle
line of sight, and pursue and track fast moving targets.
All the data from the electro-optic payload and from the UAV is processed in the vehicle's integrated control console.
OIP Sensor Systems is providing perimeter security for sensitive installations such as oil storage depots, refineries, pump stations, army bases, ammunition depots, power stations and more. |
