Assistant Expedition Administrator & Incoming Goods

Are you an organized, detail-driven professional with a passion for logistics?

Your Role

You will be part of a team managing the flow of goods and ensuring all logistics and legal requirements are met for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Ensure reception and registration of incoming goods.
  • Inspect packaging for damage and register goods in the ERP system.
  • Forward goods to QC for inspection and approval.
  • Manage all import/export tasks, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Apply for import/export permits.
  • Handle export controls, T1 documents, temporary exports, and goods codes.
  • Manage customs formalities and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Administer Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) documentation.
  • Check inbound/outbound documents, transport invoices, and deposits.
  • Track and report goods traffic and Intrastat declarations to the Strategic Goods Control department.
  • Organize and manage outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents.
  • Ensure cost-effective shipments that meet customer timelines and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounting, and Sales for smooth logistics operations.

Your Profile

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and compliance.
  • Experience in import/export logistics, preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations, export controls, and ERP systems.
  • Proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
