As Subco Manager you play a key role in our space projects. You manage and supervise the subcontractors within a specific space project in the commercial, operational and quality area, according to the contractual agreements on specifications, planning and budgets.

Your tasks:

• To follow-up and challenge the subcontractors project plans, both as regards content and budget, in coordination with the Program Manager
• To act as key figure and first contact person for the subcontractors, for all aspects relating to the realization and follow-up of their part of the program
• To align and coordinate the subcontractors progress with the project team and assist the program manager in reporting status & progress to our customer.

Your profile:

• A higher technical training
• Experience in managing long-term projects (in an international context)
• Strong power of persuasion and excellent communication skills in English
• Knowledge of optical systems is a strong asset, as well as experience in space projects
• You are ready to travel and to stay abroad (briefly) on a regular basis, if required for the follow-up of the subcontractors you are responsible for
