Team Leader Mechanical Engineering

Your responsibilities:

• Directing the activities of the mechanical team based upon priorities that are coordinated with the Head of Engineering and the various Program / Project Managers
• Using the capacity planning, ensuring the optimal engagement of team members.
• Providing a timely identification of capacity shortfalls
• Regularly reporting regularly the achievement of set objectives
• First point of contact for the team members, giving direction and ensuring communication in both directions (bottom-up and top-down) between Head of Engineering and the team members
• Managing, coaching, motivating and developing the individual employees so that their competencies are optimally and efficiently deployed and developed in order to function as a well-functioning department
• Reporting to the Head of Engineering

Your profile:

• Master Degree in the technical expertise of the team or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an industrial environment
• Language skills: English (professional), additional languages are a plus
• Strong leadership skills: both group-oriented and individual leadership
• Resolving conflict & motivational skills
• Planning and organizing
• Organizational loyalty
• Results-oriented
• Multi-task minded
• Flexibility
