OIP N.V. was established in 1919 as ‘Optique et Instruments de Précision’ in Ghent and has been operating in Oudenaarde since 1988, under its trade name OIP Sensor Systems.
OIP Sensor Systems’ application areas comprise Day/Night Observation, Targeting,
Sighting & Situational Awareness for Defence, Law Enforcement & Security.
Our company builds on its experience with the user, while paying special attention to precision, accuracy, reliability & cost effectiveness. We regularly participate in international development programs and provide our worldwide customers with flexible, customised solutions.

Our product range includes: Dismounted Soldier Equipment, Platform Mounted Systems, Thermal Imagers, Fire Control Systems for Armoured Vehicles & Remote Controlled Weapon Stations, Driver’s Vision Enhancement Systems, 360° Multi-Camera Systems for Situational Awareness.

ENGINEERING TEAM
Engineering remains the major focus of OIP. The department consists of an extensive and specialised team of highly experienced and qualified engineers and scientists, who are working with the most advanced software for optical, mechanical and electronic design.

OIP Sensor Systems works according to the highest standards and uses a continuous improvement quality management system which meets the AS9100 requirements for design, development & manufacturing of optoelectronic systems. AS9100, the quality management standard for Aviation, Space & Defence Industries, fully incorporates all requirements of ISO 9001.
